Trojan T-28 LAZERTOYZ V2 RC Lite Install:

I used a V2 Light Kit because I wanted the ability to control all the lights (you can turn all the lights on solid if you want, or turn all off , or have them Blink and strobe too. The V2 will also work with 5 volts applied and all the lights will come on after 3 seconds.

If you want a more simple control use the V3, this keeps the position and strobe light on all the time and the landing lights you can turn on and off from your transmitter while flying .

I started with cutting a notch in the wing even with the servo (I used the servo wire channel to route the wire through the wing , I sliced a cut in the wing from the servo wire channel to the notch to insert the wire in and place the LED . Then I used a little Mercury M5 CA to seal the cut and Glue in the LED in position.

You Can pull the Wire through the EPP easily By making a .032 wire hook and pulling the wire  (I cut the wires and re-soldered them)

I used Clear tape on the wing to cover the LED and make the wing aerodynamic again. Don't leave a fingerprint like I did :)

I cut a notch in the tail and then installed Carbon fiber to beef up the Material removed by Notching.  Taped over it again.

I replaced my white strobe with a red strobe LED (the LED does not create the strobe effect the V2 controller does)

I added 1 extra landing light for 2 total and under the wing spaced apart far enough that it gives you better orientation when flying.

I placed 2 More Landing lights in the Cockpit by taking my soldering iron and burning a hole ( Note Red Arrow ) in the front and rear of the Cockpit

and then inserting an LED ( it makes the cockpit appear to be lighted )

I used a servo extension to make a disconnect for the wing from the Fuse  (center wire should be to the yellow COMMON LED wire and the outside can be the 2 outputs)

It turned out GREAT ! I was very please and it took about 2 hours total.
